 You also will have the ability to create your own little ocean full of all sorts of different ocean life in it.

 Consider things like your budget and the amount of time that you have available to take care of these fish.  You may also want to consider the amount of room that you have for the fish tank. 

 While you can have a smaller salt water aquarium, many people are looking to have a much larger aquarium.  This is quite normal yet requires that much more attention and needs.
